Quantum has long been the leader in wireless trigger devices. The Radio Slave 4i and the very recently introduced FREEXWIRE are designed to fire flash units (battery or mains operated) and/or cameras up to hundreds of feet away. Since these units use radio waves, the transmitter and receiver do not have to be in sight of each other, i.e. you can fire flash/camera or both even if they are in different rooms, hidden behind objects or even inside cabinets/cars etc.

The Radio Slave 4i is absolutely perfect for the busy portrait studio: no more problems caused by synch leads!!

New - Digital FreeXWire Units FW7Q & 8R & 9T

FW7Q. A RECEIVER unit for use ONLY on Qflash 4d & 5d units! Receives exposure information (TTL, f-stop & ISO) from FW9T transmitter. FW7Q is small, lightweight and contoured to mount flush onto a Qflash. Needs no cable connection and nor a battery. Range 300 – 600 feet.

FW8R. This RECEIVER unit works with ANY portable or studio flash unit for wireless triggering up to 1000 feet. Connect to a Qflash using cable FW31 for wireless TTL use. To fire digital or certain film cameras wirelessly a dedicated release cord is available. Range 500-1000 feet.

FW9T This TRANSMITTER works with these receivers: FW7Q, FW8R or FW10w (set to "receive").

All FreeXWire units share these features:

8 independent, non-interfering channels
4 remote zones can be turned on or off in any combination
Status LED's confirm units are on, battery condition & system working properly
