Camera Canon 1Ds Mk III ISO 100 exposure 1/250th at f 8, 16mm lens, available light metered manually and under exposed by 1 stop.
Quantum Qflash X5D-R at 400 Watt seconds in TTL mode with gold bare bulb enhancer mounted on a monopod and held so the head was 10 feet off ground and approx 10 feet away from the subject to camera left. Thus it was shooting light accross the subject from left to right directly 180 degrees opposite the sun which was low (morning) and coming from camera right.
The quantum exposure was set to the skin tones of the subject by setting the spot metering point on the canon to the same as the autofocus point. The subject was cross lit from both sides showing up texture on the dress and skin but no light shining directly into the subjects eyes.
